ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESThe following and other duties may be assigned as necessary for Hollywood Casino Gulf Coast and Boomtown Casino Biloxi:  <ul><li style="margin-bottom:0in">Responsible for all procurement and contract service needs of the property.</li><li style="margin-bottom:0in">Creates effective and efficient schedules, while maintaining labor costs, meeting staffing objectives and achieving guest satisfaction. </li><li style="margin-bottom:0in">Leads local procurement and distribution strategies to complement regional and national strategies, plans,</li><li style="margin-bottom:0in">and agreements, and coordinates with the regional and national offices to ensure that the property is accurately represented and included in all sourcing activity.</li><li style="margin-bottom:0in">Ensures a constant drive for excellence through high standards of service, productive partnerships with</li><li style="margin-bottom:0in">internal stakeholders, and through the supply base.</li><li style="margin-bottom:0in">Establishes effective communication and collaborative processes with key internal stakeholders. Coordinates with user departments to understand needs and anticipate/resolve issues.</li><li style="margin-bottom:0in">Schedules shipments in and out of property ensuring adequate supplies.</li><li style="margin-bottom:0in">Interviews/Hires, trains, motivates, evaluates, and supervises staff to ensure that all employees receive adequate guidance, coaching, and resources to perform their jobs and achieve department objectives.</li><li style="margin-bottom:0in">Responsible for supervising and managing staff in the Purchasing department.</li><li style="margin-bottom:0in">Develops, implements, and manages operational goals and monitors achievements of performance and cost savings objectives.</li><li style="margin-bottom:0in">Responsible for monitoring and supporting diversity spending initiatives.</li><li style="margin-bottom:0in">Procuring and expediting all material and services while recommending alternatives for consideration</li><li style="margin-bottom:0in">Monitors results of department/function through inspection, evaluation, and analysis. </li><li style="margin-bottom:0in">Ensures that the procurement process is operating in an effective manner to ensure the greatest benefit as it relates to the bidding process, terms of contract and negotiations with vendors, while maintaining compliance with state regulations and internal controls.</li><li style="margin-bottom:0in">Develops new supply sources where vendors are inadequate.</li><li style="margin-bottom:0in">Audits procurement documentation on an ongoing basis to ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements. Reports potential issues to leadership.</li><li style="margin-bottom:0in">Enthusiastically supports, actively promotes, and demonstrates superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards and programs. Ensures customer service standards are followed by all team members and addresses issues as they arise. Responsible for the overall achievement of department customer service goals.</li><li style="margin-bottom:0in">Maintains strict confidentiality in all departmental and company matters.</li><li style="margin-bottom:0in">Responsible for ensuring the compliance with all regulatory compliance within area of responsibility and reporting potential issues to Executive Management / GM.</li></ul>
