Bachelor's degree • Relevant experience within sourcing/procurement commodity management or in a related role involving negotiating, identifying cost reduction opportunities, selecting suppliers and/or implementing contracts, required • Proficient in data analytics and Microsoft Excel • Professional oral/written communication • Demonstrated team player • Demonstrated ability to take ownership of issues, to initiate actions, and to make effective decisions • Strong project management, facilitation leadership and execution skills • Ability/Willingness to travel up to 20% domestic and/or international. The Commodity Buyer works in tandem with manufacturing, consumer operations, distribution, engineering, product management, human resources, communications, and legal in executing strategies that result in increased value to the organization.
