The role includes automating workflows with Python or JavaScript, supporting data visualization and application performance, collaborating within Agile development teams, and delivering intuitive, scalable user interfaces for operational environments.Required Qualifications<ul><li style="line-height:normal">Bachelor's degree or higher in Data Science, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Management Information Systems, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Applied Physics, or a related technical discipline. </li><li style="line-height:normal">Minimum of 7 years of combined front-end development and data visualization experience. </li><li style="line-height:normal">Demonstrated experience developing user interfaces using the React framework and modern web technologies. </li><li style="line-height:normal">Experience with MAVEN Smart Systems. </li><li style="line-height:normal">Experience developing interactive web-based dashboards and visualizations using modern visualization libraries. </li><li style="line-height:normal">Experience supporting database-driven applications, version control, and database normalization practices. </li><li style="line-height:normal">Experience automating tasks using Python, JavaScript, or similar scripting languages. </li><li style="line-height:normal">Experience querying external databases through APIs and RSS feeds. </li><li style="line-height:normal">Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and working within cross-functional technical teams. </li><li style="line-height:normal">Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. </li></ul>The GARRETT GROUP is an Equal Opportunity Employer. Overview:
We’re looking for a DevOps Developer who thrives at the intersection of development and operations. In this role, you’ll play a critical part in getting software changes from development into production quickly, reliably, and securely. You’ll design and maintain CI/CD pipelines, troubleshoot build and deployment issues, and collaborate across teams to ensure smooth, low-risk releases. This is a hands-on role focused on automation, reliability, and continuous improvement of the software delivery lifecycle.

Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines to enable fast, reliable deployments</li><li>Automate manual processes to reduce errors and improve efficiency</li><li>Troubleshoot and resolve build, deployment, and environment issues</li><li>Coordinate and manage software releases across multiple environments</li><li>Monitor pipelines and processes to identify bottlenecks and improve performance</li><li>Administer and support DevOps tools (Jenkins, Git, Docker, etc.)</li><li>Ensure all changes meet audit, security, and compliance requirements</li><li>Partner with developers, QA, and operations to drive continuous delivery</li><li>Document processes and support audit readiness</li></ul>

Qualifications:
<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or relevant work experience may substitute for formal education)</li><li>Minimum 4 years’ experience in software development, operations, DevOps, configuration/change, or release management</li><li>Familiarity with GitLab CI/CD pipelines</li><li>Hands-on experience with DevOps tools: Git, Jenkins, and Docker</li><li>Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, Java, Groovy)</li><li>Solid troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities</li><li>Experience working in Agile environments (Jira, Rally, etc.)</li><li>Ability to work independently on projects and collaboratively across teams</li></ul>Preferred:<ul><li>Strong experience with Groovy or Java</li><li>Experience with AWS</li><li>Experience with release tools (e.g., UCD)</li><li>Unix/Linux experience</li></ul>How you'll work:<ul><li>Collaborative, cross-functional team environment</li><li>Strong focus on ownership, communication, automation, attenion to detail, and continuous improvement</li><li>Monday-Friday, normal hours with possible on-call support as required for release operations and for hot fixes</li></ul>
