Experience within the Aerospace Industry with exposure to AS9100 and FAA regulations preferred• Outstanding organizational skills and experience with managing multiple deadlines at once• Strong technical skills including the ability to read and understand technical drawings• Proficient in communicating information to individuals and groups in both written and presentation form• Minitab experience preferred• Strong desire to work in a team made up of a cross functional group of individuals• Self-starter that can work extended hours as required to satisfy customer deadlines• Ability to be flexible and able to function comfortably in a fast paced, constantly changing, and ambiguous environment while maintaining a positive team environment• Reliable and flexible to work additional hours on short notice to complete orders and/or special projects to meet customer demands• Understanding and experience in Lean manufacturing environment preferred. SUMMARYUnder the general direction of the Quality and Compliance Manager, the Quality Engineer II is responsible for utilizing an advanced set of theory combined with practical application to maximize the overall quality of manufactured product with an area of focus involving overall customer experience ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS• Continuously review and improve the identification and application of elements of the corrective action process, including problem identification, failure analysis, root cause analysis, problem correction, recurrent control, and verification of effectiveness• Participate in the development of Quality Strategic Planning (QSP), Cost of Quality, Measuring Quality and other measurement activities to provide organization with stronger tools to analyze quality performance.•
