Supervise and provide direct nursing care to residents in accordance with physician orders and care plans • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations governing skilled nursing facilities • Assist the Director of Nursing (DON) and Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) with daily clinical operations • Administer medications and treatments per established protocols • Accurately document assessments, care provided, and changes in resident condition • Admit, transfer, and discharge residents as required • Communicate effectively with physicians, residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members • Monitor nursing staff performance and ensure appropriate staffing levels during the shift • Participate in quality assurance, infection control, and survey readiness activities • Respond promptly and professionally to resident needs, incidents, and emergencies • Maintain resident confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations. • Ability to lift, push, pull, and/or move up to 25 pounds • Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the shift • Ability to work with elderly, ill, and emotionally sensitive residents • Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential job functions.
