p>Responsibilities: - Performs as the lead for all safety topics in the Business Unit;
- Monitors and as required, provides training of business unit employees on Safety policies, procedures, and regulations;
- Interfaces with customer base, government officials, and external auditors;
- Manages the participation in Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) inspections;
- Provides inspectors with appropriate documents and identifying safety measures;
- Serves as a lead for all Safety Review Meetings;
- Acts as an expert safety and quality assurance advisor to health and safety administration team, and business unit leadership regarding projects, tasks, and operations;
- Conduct field base audits, inspections, investigations, and visits (some travel required);
- Coordinates all HSE/ENV issues directly with Area and Base Managers;
- Monitors the removal of physical, biological, chemical hazards;
- Models and Promotes an organizational culture that fosters safety practices through effective leadership;
- Participates in TSA security initiatives as a back-up as needed for customer and regulatory requirements;
- Assists in the coordination of MoC process and documentation;
- Assists with the safety statistical analysis of the Business Unit;
- Other tasks assigned by the Safety Manager. This at times may include changing priorities and/or deadlines;
