Our client is currently seeking a qualified <strong> Level 2 Support Technician</strong> to join their team <strong> onsite </strong>in Duncan, SC and provide end-user support. This is a long term contract opportunity.<br/><br/>
The ideal candidate must have experience with Windows 10 and 11 as well as ticketing system experience (preferably ServiceNow). The candidate must also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Candidates with manufacturing or supply chain environment experience a plus. <strong> Day shift schedule and must be willing to work some OT and after-hours.</strong><br/><br/><strong><u>Duties and Responsibilities</u> :</strong></div><ul><li><div>Deliver a deskside service to the client for support on laptop / desktop related hardware / software break fix incidents</div></li><li><div>Deploy, configure, and support mobile devices, printers, RF Scanners, and standard productivity software, for internal users at the site</div></li><li><div>Provide support with the activities related to the configuration and installation of desktops, including patch updates and hardware replacements</div></li><li><div>Provide support for the PC grade UPS (Uninterruptable Power Supply)</div></li><li><div>Provide "Smart Hands” support related to the access points and switches based on the SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) provided or as per guided by the client IT team</div></li><li><div>Assist client's IT team with network and infrastructure initiatives, including hardware and systems administration</div></li><li><div>Participate in meetings and planning sessions related to the maintenance, upgrade, infrastructure inventory and risk assessment, and disaster recovery related activities at the site</div></li><li><div>Take appropriate action in the event of non-compliance with security requirements as guided by the client IT support teams</div></li><li><div>Asset tagging and updating asset database based on the SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) provided by client</div></li></ul><div><br/><strong><u>Skills and Qualifications</u></strong><u> :</u></div><ul><li><div>Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs. solo and 50 lbs. with a partner</div></li><li><div>May be required to walk / sit / stand / crawl / kneel for extended periods</div></li><li><div>Previous manufacturing experience is preferred but not required</div></li><li><div>Excellent communication skills</div></li><li><div>Passionate about helping others with technology and going above and beyond for end-users</div></li></ul><div><br/><br/><strong><u>Wage Range</u></strong>:<br/>
The rate for this position is between <strong> $27.00 - $30.00 per hour</strong>, unless local minimum wage is higher.
