Overview Dental Assistant and Receptionist (float position)Westside Endodontics We are seeking a versatile and dependable team member to join our practice in a float role supporting both the front office and clinical team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys variety in their day, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is passionate about delivering excellent patient care.This role will primarily focus on front office responsibilities, while also providing clinical support as needed. Schedule: Full Time, Monday-Thursday 7:30AM-5:00PM and Friday 7:30AM-12:00PM  Responsibilities <ul><li>Patient Experience: Welcoming patients, handling check-ins/check-outs, and managing the reception area.</li><li>Scheduling: Booking appointments, confirming visits, and managing cancellations or no-shows.</li><li>Administrative Tasks: Updating patient records, managing emails/correspondence, and scanning documents.</li><li>Financial Duties: Collecting co-pays, processing payments, verifying insurance coverage, and preparing insurance claims.</li><li>Communication: Answering phone calls, handling queries, and providing patient education materials.</li><li>Provide chair-side clinical support to Drs by assisting, charting, patient education, operatory set-up and clean-up</li><li>Deliver a superior patient experience at all phases of their appointment</li><li>Take and process X-Rays</li><li>Maintain accurate patient records and documentation</li><li>Complete sterilization processes for equipment and operatories</li><li>Welcome, comfort and educate patients on oral hygiene and post treatment care</li><li>Ensure infection control protocols, maintain patient confidentiality and follow workplace regulations</li><li>Please note that additional responsibilities may be assigned</li></ul> Qualifications Requirements <ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent</li><li>Dental Assistant and Dental Radiology certifications in accordance with state regulations and practice standards </li><li>1+ years of Dental assisting and front office experience</li></ul>Preferred Skills<ul><li>Excellent communication skills and a team-first attitude</li><li>Reliable, organized, and comfortable in a high-level clinical setting</li></ul>We Offer<ul><li>Competitive Compensation</li><li>Benefits Package: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, Flexible Spending Accounts, Paid Time Off, Paid Holidays and much more!</li></ul> Specialized Dental Partners, its affiliates, related companies and independently owned supported clinical practices are proud to be Equal Opportunity Employers.
