Duties: Under the general supervision of the General Manager – Proctor Recreation Center & Logan Recreation Center, the Proctor Center Referee will be responsible for the following: Know and enforce all rules and regulations according to the event. Knowledge and Ability: Understanding of basic philosophy surrounding high quality fitness and recreational programs, and the ability to interpret that to staff and public.

<h5>Proctor Center Referee </h5><p>Proctor Recreation Center - Peoria, IL 61605 </p><h5>Overview </h5><p>Salary Range $15.00 Hourly Position Type Seasonal </p><h5>Description </h5><p>Duties: Under the general supervision of the General Manager – Proctor Recreation Center & Logan Recreation Center, the Proctor Center Referee will be responsible for the following: </p><ul><li>Know and enforce all rules and regulations according to the event. </li><li>Maintain order on the court. </li><li>Ensure player safety throughout games. </li><li>Issue warnings, technical fouls, or eject players for rule violations. </li><li>Follow all safety procedures that pertain to the duties performed; support all aspects of the Park District's safety program. </li><li>Perform all other duties as required. </li></ul><p>Essential Functions: Must be able to be on your feet for multiple consecutive hours, run, jump, and lift up to 45 pounds. </p><h5>Qualifications </h5><p>Experience: Must be at least 18 years of age. Previous experience with youth sports is preferred. </p><p>Knowledge and Ability: </p><ul><li>Understanding of basic philosophy surrounding high quality fitness and recreational programs, and the ability to interpret that to staff and public. </li><li>Ability to be punctual, dependable, and trustworthy. </li><li>Ability to enforce all policies of Proctor Recreation Center. </li><li>Ability to be professional, respectful, accountable, innovative, to follow safety procedures, and be equitable to both internal and external customers. </li><li>Ability to work harmoniously with the public and fellow employees in an enthusiastic, cooperative, and productive manner.
