ERS ELITE is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Veteran Recruiter/Sourcer to join our team. This role is designed for active-duty military personnel transitioning to civilian careers through the DOD SkillBridge Program.As a Veteran Recruiter/Sourcer, you will play a vital role in identifying, recruiting, and connecting skilled veterans with rewarding careers as automotive technicians. You will develop strategic partnerships, engage with veteran organizations, and promote career opportunities in the automotive industry.This remote position offers an excellent opportunity to gain recruitment experience, build a strong network, and contribute to the success of veterans transitioning into civilian careers.Requirements<h3>Mandatory Qualifications:</h3>Active-Duty Military Status – Must be currently serving and eligible for the DOD SkillBridge Program.180 Days or Less of Service Remaining – Applicants must have six months or less left in the military to qualify.<h3>Preferred Experience & Skills:</h3>Recruiting or Sourcing Experience – Prior experience in talent acquisition or recruiting is preferred. Other duties may be assigned.Payroll <ul class="ul1"><li class="li3">Prepare and process payroll information by compiling, calculating, and inputting weekly payroll data</li><li class="li3">Enters data into computer files.</li><li class="li3">Records changes affecting net wages such as exemptions, insurance coverage, 401K, and other benefit deductions for each employee to update master payroll records.</li><li class="li3">Prepares periodic reports of earnings, taxes, and deductions as required.</li><li class="li3">Keeps records of leave pay and nontaxable wages.</li><li class="li2">Prepares and issue paychecks as needed.</li></ul> Human Resource Functions <ul class="ul1"><li class="li5">Records and updates employee information such as personal data, compensation, benefits, tax data, performance reviews or evaluations, and termination date and reason.</li><li class="li5">Processes employment applications and assists in other employment activities.</li><li class="li5">Tracks and keeps record of vacation accrual.</li><li class="li5">Oversees annual benefit renewals, benefit rollouts and open enrollment process.</li><li class="li5">Handles on boarding of all new hires and insures all necessary new-hire paperwork is completed and received.</li><li class="li5">Responsible for Workers Comp administration and maintaining record of work related accidents and injuries.</li><li class="li2">Serves as go-to person for employees regarding HR matters</li></ul> Qualifications <ul class="ul1"><li class="li5">Minimum 2-3-years payroll / HR department experience</li><li class="li5">Ability to process basic functions and formulas in Microsoft Excel</li><li class="li5">Familiarity with payroll software (UltiPro/UKG) a plus</li><li class="li5">Knowledge of MS Office: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.</li><li class="li5">Strong multi-tasking, organizational, and written and verbal communication skills.</li><li class="li5">Attention to detail and experience handling sensitive and confidential information.</li><li class="li2">Ability to work in a team manufacturing environment.</li><li class="li2">Bi-lingual is preferred</li></ul> Education and/or Experience High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities Champion Home Builders is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
