ERS ELITE is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Veteran Recruiter/Sourcer to join our team. This role is designed for active-duty military personnel transitioning to civilian careers through the DOD SkillBridge Program.As a Veteran Recruiter/Sourcer, you will play a vital role in identifying, recruiting, and connecting skilled veterans with rewarding careers as automotive technicians. You will develop strategic partnerships, engage with veteran organizations, and promote career opportunities in the automotive industry.This remote position offers an excellent opportunity to gain recruitment experience, build a strong network, and contribute to the success of veterans transitioning into civilian careers.Requirements<h3>Mandatory Qualifications:</h3>Active-Duty Military Status – Must be currently serving and eligible for the DOD SkillBridge Program.180 Days or Less of Service Remaining – Applicants must have six months or less left in the military to qualify.<h3>Preferred Experience & Skills:</h3>Recruiting or Sourcing Experience – Prior experience in talent acquisition or recruiting is preferred. Military Occupational Specialty Knowledge – Familiarity with automotive and mechanical military job roles is a plus.Automotive Industry Knowledge – Understanding of technical skills required for automotive technician roles.Communication & Interpersonal Skills – Ability to engage with veterans, hiring managers, and industry partners.Adaptability & Problem-Solving – Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.Team Player – Strong collaborative mindset to work effectively with cross-functional teams.BenefitsComplete medical, dental, and vision plans are available.401(k) retirement plan options with employer contributions.Standardized holiday season break, in addition to accrued 3 weeks of vacation time and paid time off (PTO).

This is a hands-on role requiring attention to detail, organization, and a strong sense of accountability.<hr/><h2>What You'll Do</h2><h3>Payroll Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Process weekly payroll by compiling, calculating, and entering data accurately</li><li>Maintain payroll records, including deductions, benefits, and tax information</li><li>Track leave, non-taxable wages, and earnings records</li><li>Generate payroll reports and assist with audits as needed</li><li>Issue paychecks and resolve discrepancies</li></ul><h3>Human Resources Support</h3><ul><li>Maintain and update employee records (personal data, benefits, compensation)</li><li>Support recruiting and onboarding activities</li><li>Ensure new hire paperwork is complete and compliant</li><li>Track PTO and vacation accruals</li><li>Assist with benefits administration, including open enrollment</li><li>Manage workers' compensation records and reporting</li><li>Serve as a resource for employee HR-related questions</li></ul><hr/><h2>What We're Looking For</h2><ul><li>2–3 years of payroll and/or HR experience</li><li>Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (basic formulas and functions required)</li><li>Familiarity with payroll systems (UKG/UltiPro preferred)</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)</li><li>Strong organization, multitasking, and communication skills</li><li>High level of accuracy and attention to detail</li><li>Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism</li><li>Experience working in a fast-paced or manufacturing environment is a plus</li></ul><h3>Language Skills</h3><ul><li>Bilingual in English and Spanish is strongly preferred</li></ul><hr/><h2>Education & Experience</h2><ul><li>High school diploma or GED required</li><li>Additional HR/payroll training or experience preferred</li><li>Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered</li></ul><hr/><h2>Why This Role Matters</h2>This position directly supports both our employees and operations-ensuring people are paid accurately, supported effectively, and set up for success.
