Responsibilities include a) drive process improvements in the department with regards to efficiency and value to our customers, b) lead projects related to system implementations or upgrades, c) record transactions and perform account reconciliations, often for broader or more complicated areas of the business, d) maintain excellent working relationships between Centralized Accounting staff, business unit finance and other departments, e) maintain an appropriate control environment in accordance with company SOX policy and GAAP while adhering to all corporate timelines around the monthly close cycle.
