We are currently seeking an experienced and strategic Vice President of Finance to join our Executive Team. This position is remote, with a preference for candidates located in OR, WA, or ID. The salary range for this role is $197,000 – $235,000, depending on experience and qualifications.About the Role:The Vice President of Finance plays a critical leadership role in guiding OCCU’s financial health and long-term strategy. This position leads core finance functions, including accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting, while providing insight and recommendations to support strategic decision-making. You will lead the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of financial processes and systems while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards. Acting as a key advisor to executive leadership, this role helps drive organizational performance, profitability, and sustainable growth.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Lead and execute OCCU’s financial strategy, aligning with organizational goals and long-term objectives.</li><li>Oversee accounting operations, including general ledger, receivables, payables, and financial reporting.</li><li>Ensure timely and accurate forecasts, financial modeling, and analysis of financial trends.</li><li>Manage budget development, rolling forecasts, and performance tracking against organizational goals.</li><li>Interpret financial, economic, and statistical data to inform strategic decisions.</li><li>Ensure compliance with GAAP and all regulatory reporting requirements.</li><li>Oversee reporting to regulatory agencies and ensure timely and accurate submissions.</li><li>Address audit findings and ensure appropriate resolution of financial exceptions.</li><li>Lead, coach, and develop finance team members, fostering a highly engaged and high-performing team.</li><li>Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to support collaboration and execution.</li></ul>What We’re Looking For:<ul><li>Minimum of seven years of directly related finance and accounting experience.</li><li>Demonstrated knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles.
