Provide additional supervision, feedback, and documentation review for struggling learners, recognizing that these residents require increased time, oversight, and faculty expertise to ensure safe patient care and effective educational support in the inpatient setting. Acknowledging that Hospital Medicine is its own medical specialty, as recognized by the American Board of Hospital Medicine and Society of Hospital Medicine, Faculty will be expected to have appropriate training and expertise to provide evidence-based, high-quality inpatient and transitional care medicine.
