Description: Our Observation department includes a fast-paced short stay acute unit, admission flex unit and a short stay inpatient unit, all with an expected 24-48-hour length of stay. Unit specific specialized training includes IV placement, 12 Lead EKG performance and interpretation, Venipunctures, Point of Care Troponins (POCT), BLS, ACLS, EKG 1 and EKG 2 core classes.
