<h3>Job Description</h3><h2>Overview</h2>We are seeking a BIM Specialist/Construction Coordinator Energy - Remote. This remote position is based out of our Richland, WA office. <h2></h2><h2>Your role</h2><ul><li>Develops and maintains 4D and 5 models using Synchro 4D Pro to visualize construction sequencing, incorporating cost and P6 schedules.</li><li>Coordinates Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD models for design integration and clash detection.</li><li>Supports Information Management processes, ensuring compliance with BIM standards (e.g., ISO 19650).</li><li>Assists in creating and validating construction/assembly sequencing plans for US Nuclear projects.</li><li>Plans and executes Digital Rehearsals for pre-job briefs, leveraging 4D, Immersive and VR technologies to improve team readiness and safety.</li><li>Develops and supports Immersive and VR-based training for construction/assembly and maintenance activities.</li><li>Collaborates with planners, engineers, and project managers to align digital models with schedules.</li><li>Provides technical support and troubleshooting for digital tools.</li><li>Performs other duties as assigned.</li></ul><h2></h2><h2>About you</h2><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field.</li><li>Hands-on experience with Synchro 4D Pro required.</li><li>Minimum five (5) years of BIM experience. Ten (10) years' experience preferred.</li><li>Nuclear sector or other heavy industries, ideally in an organization similar to AtkinsRéalis preferred.</li><li>Autodesk Revit, and Navisworks Manage preferred.</li><li>Understanding of construction sequencing and project planning principles.</li><li>Familiarity with Information Management and Common Data Environments (CDE).</li><li>Experience with VR platforms and immersive training technologies (preferred).</li><li>Strong problem-solving and communication skills.</li><li>Thorough knowledge of Information Management / BIM, and their role in enabling broader digital transformation and digital workflows. </li><li>Ability to interpret engineering models and integrate them into project schedules.</li><li>Experience in digital rehearsals and Immersive/VR training development.</li><li>Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to problem solve. Organized and able to manage workload, ensuring deadlines are met and responsibilities are fulfilled.</li><li>Ability to foster strong project collaboration across teams (internally and externally). </li><li>A commitment to advancing information management and digital transformation in the nuclear sector. This role is ideal for a hands-on engineering professional who is experienced across the full project lifecycle—from concept and pre-FEED through commissioning and startup. This position will play a key role in managing multi-discipline engineering efforts, supporting EPCm-style projects, and ensuring successful project execution across safety, quality, cost, and schedule. Responsibilities: • Support industrial capital projects ranging from $1M to $400M in scope • Lead and coordinate multi-discipline teams across feasibility, FEED, detailed design, procurement, and construction phases • Provide technical oversight on mechanical systems including HVAC, hydronics, process piping, plumbing, and exhaust systems • Ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards including ASME, ASME B31.3, and ASHRAE • Identify gaps in engineering deliverables and support front-end loading and stage-gate processes • Collaborate with project controls and cross-functional teams to support cost, schedule, and execution alignment • Act as a key liaison between client, subcontractors, and internal teams • Support scope development, change management, and contract execution • Assist in developing project budgets, schedules, and execution plans • Monitor project performance and address risks related to cost overruns or delays • Lead project status meetings and provide reporting to leadership • Promote quality assurance and continuous improvement throughout project execution • Support business development efforts and help secure additional work Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field • 8+ years of experience in project engineering within industrial or manufacturing environments • Experience supporting full project lifecycle (pre-FEED through commissioning/startup) • Strong background in MEP systems and vertical construction • Proven ability to manage projects and interface directly with clients • Strong communication skills (written and verbal) • Ability to work onsite in an industrial manufacturing setting Preferred Qualifications: • PE License or ability to obtain within 6 months – 1 year.
