Extensive critical care skills including: IV therapy, central line management, ventilator care, hemodynamic monitoring, administration of vasopressors and continuous sedation, pediatric dosage calculations, chest tube management, tracheostomy care, and telemetry monitoring. Schedule: 12-hour shifts with every other weekend required; flexible nurse-to-patient ratios (1:1, 1:2 for critical care; 1:3 for step-down); includes holiday coverage requirement (work or provide on-call for 1 of 2 or 2 of 3 winter holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's).
