RESPONSIBILITIES: Follow defined work instructions, process controls, and maintain a safe work environment Maintain maximum work center uptime by identifying and reporting off-nominal issues (e.g., alarms, out-of-tolerance conditions) and actively maintaining best practices Perform cleaning, testing, assembly, inspection, and related support tasks on precision parts and assemblies Use metrology equipment including CMMs, optical microscopes, and other precision instruments Perform data entry, work tracking, and effective communication with team members and leadership Actively seek out and provide feedback on process improvements and efficiency opportunities to engineering/leadership Keep a clean and safe work environment following company guidelines BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or equivalency certificate 1+ years of professional work experience using precision tools (torque tools, precision metrology instruments, precision testing equipment) PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: Experience working under a quality system with defined requirements. Experience with micron or sub-micron tolerance parts and how to handle/inspect them Experience in an electro-mechanical manufacturing company, a precision manufacturing company, or high-volume manufacturing company Experience operating CMM or other metrology equipment Experience with data entry and work tracking systems Exposure to precision machining or diamond turning environments ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be willing to work 1st or 2nd shift hours, overtime, and weekends as needed.
