The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise across Azure, AWS, Cisco Meraki, and modern security platforms, with a strong focus on identity and access management.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Manage and support cloud environments (Azure & AWS) including provisioning, monitoring, and optimization</li><li>Administer and maintain Microsoft Exchange / Microsoft 365 environments</li><li>Configure and manage Cisco Meraki network infrastructure (LAN/WAN, firewalls, VPNs)</li><li>Implement and manage identity & access management solutions (Active Directory, Azure AD, Okta)</li><li>Support Zero Trust security frameworks using tools like Zscaler</li><li>Monitor and respond to threats using CrowdStrike or similar endpoint security platforms</li><li>Manage user access control, provisioning/de-provisioning, and role-based access</li><li>Ensure system security, compliance, and data protection across environments</li><li>Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure, network, and security issues</li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support IT operations and projects</li><li>Maintain documentation and follow best practices for system configuration and security</li></ul>Required Skills & Experience<ul><li>4–8+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, cloud, and security roles</li><li>Strong hands-on experience with:</li><li><ul><li>Azure & AWS</li><li>Cisco Meraki (networking & firewall)</li><li>Active Directory & Azure AD</li><li>Microsoft Exchange / M365</li></ul></li><li>Experience with Okta (or similar IAM tools)</li><li>Exposure to Zscaler / Zero Trust architecture</li><li>Experience with endpoint security tools (CrowdStrike preferred)</li><li>Solid understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, VPN, DNS, firewalls)</li><li>Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills</li></ul>Good to Have<ul><li>Certifications (any of the below):</li><li><ul><li>Azure / AWS certifications</li><li>Cisco (CCNA or equivalent)</li><li>Security certifications (Security+, CISSP, etc.)</li></ul></li><li>Experience in hybrid environments</li><li>Knowledge of compliance frameworks (ISO, SOC2, etc.)</li></ul>Key Traits<ul><li>Strong ownership and accountability</li><li>Ability to work across multiple technologies</li><li>Clear communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders</li></ul>

The RFO will operate and maintain systems associated with various fleet assets such as Combustion Turbine Generator (CTG), Reciprocating Internal Combustion Engines (RICE) and renewables facilities while demonstrating safety awareness that will continuously improve performance through the use and strict adherence to procedures and processes. The RFO is part of a team that centrally monitors Entergy’s regulated Power Generation resources’ fleet-wide performance, maintenance, and operations in a “co-location” workspace with the SPO’s EMO generation dispatcher and performance/equipment health monitoring groups.
