The work includes land and habitat management and improvements, maintenance building systems (i.e. plumbing, gutters, minor electrical, painting, carpentry, etc.) and equipment, ensuring accessible and safe grounds experiences for the visiting public, and the engagement and monitoring of volunteers. The site features a state-of-the-art visitor center with interactive exhibits on birds, conservation, and Audubon’s life and legacy, as well as the historic Mill Grove House, a three-story stone farmhouse built in 1762 that now serves as a museum.
