Assessment activity will involve defining approval plans, performing on-site witnessing of processes, reviewing processing documentation and process simulations, analyzing mechanical test data and metallurgical findings, and using statistical tools to determine process capability. Knowledge of associated shop practices, alloy working methods and tooling, nickel and titanium metallurgy, metallurgical evaluation methods, mechanical property testing techniques, heat treatment, process simulations and statistical evaluation techniques, are desired.
