The Division Chief must demonstrate transparency, a deep sense of professionalism, clear communication, commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in all its forms including the provision of equitable care, an unwavering ethical compass, and strong support for interdisciplinary and interprofessional collaboration and institutional growth. It is the responsibility of the Division Chief to work alongside the Department Chair to represent the Division in the areas of financial performance, faculty career development, research, education, and clinical care, while achieving local, regional and national visibility and prominence in the subspecialty.
