Essential responsibilities and tasks include thorough working knowledge of medical terminology and abbreviations, college level math (calculations, formulations, metric conversions, etc.), patient restraint, administering oral and injectable medications, assessing vital signs, and practice excellent time management skills. Inpatient Services Lead Technicians assist our clinicians in triaging, stabilizing and providing high quality nursing care to our patients, offer instruction and demonstration to veterinary students, interns, residents, and other technicians/assistants.
