Specialized experience is experience performing the following duties: Counseling customers and/or veterans, their dependents and their beneficiaries regarding their benefits; Serving as a liaison between government personnel (inside and outside the organization), representatives of business and industry, trade and professional associations, the media, or the public; Analyzing submitted claims and initiating action to obtain all required evidence to support the claim; and, Conducting comprehensive briefings to large groups. Customer Service - Works with clients and customers (that is, any individuals who use or receive the services or products that your work unit produces, including the general public, individuals who work in the agency, other agencies, or organizations outside the Government) to assess their needs, provide information or assistance, resolve their problems, or satisfy their expectations; knows about available products and services; is committed to providing quality products and services.
