Responsibilities for nurses on this unit include assessments, rhythm interpretations, lab value analyses, patient and family education, wound care, IV management, and medication administration and management. Nurses on this unit will develop or advance their skills to detect medical or cardiovascular issues, communicate with providers, and discover interventions to prevent emergent situations.
