Job summary: We are searching for an experienced Machine Repair/Maintenance Technician (1st Shift: 6:00am-2:30pm), responsible for performing duties to repair and maintain machinery, equipment, building and facilities requiring a broad knowledge of maintenance skills including mechanical repair, plumbing, welding, carpentry, fabrication and a basic knowledge of electrical repair.  Ability to operate various hand and power tools commonly used in the electrical, electronic, metal working and mechanical trades, as well as metal fabrication, welding, plumbing, and measuring equipment.

Position Responsibilities: Determine root cause, diagnose, repair, rebuild, install, and maintain production machinery and mechanical equipment, including transfer and injection presses, mixers, extruders, preformers, lathes, and packaging equipment. Rebuild machines and overhaul troublesome components and attachments, involving installation, relocation of existing machines and equipment, building, leveling, fitting, aligning, part replacement, dismantling, and inspection.
