M.T.S., or BA with equivalent experience; Minimum two years of experience in field of domestic violence, sexual assault, and/or elder abuse; Four to six years of organizational management experience; Excellent organizational, communications, facilitation, and interpersonal skills; Knowledge, comfort, and experience working with individuals and groups of diverse racial, cultural, ethnic, socioeconomic, and religious backgrounds; Extensive computer skills including experience with Word, PowerPoint, Excel; Grant writing and fundraising experience; Ability to speak and teach about abuse and its effects on faith-affiliated victims; Ability to communicate effectively with both advocates and faith leaders; Knowledge of U.S. Constitution and constraints on faith-based work that is supported by federal or state funds; Experience with running social media, creating communications, donor data bases preferred; Excellent writing, editing, facilitation, training, and public speaking skills; Proven commitment to social justice (including work to end racism and other forms of oppression and full inclusion of the LGBTQ+ community) and to work in religious community to end domestic and sexual violence and elder abuse; Ability to respond effectively to numerous and sometimes competing deadlines; Flexibility to work demanding schedule that will include evenings and weekends and travel in state (car and valid driver’s license necessary) and nationwide.
