Maintains effective communication with medical and administrative staff; and collaborates with Physicians, Consultants, other medical professionals and departments, institutions, organizations, and community agencies, including government agencies and advocacy groups, to design, develop, support, and coordinate resident care, strategies, and related administrative functions, to improve the quality of services, resolve identified problems, and represent the interests of the facility. Newton Medical Center recently achieved the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Pathway to Excellence designation and is one of a select few health care facilities in New Jersey accredited by the Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC) in all three echocardiography procedures: adult transthoracic, adult transesophogeal and adult stress.
