Supervising Clinician Yolo CountySupervising ClinicianWoodland, CARemote$108,097.60–$131,393.60 / yearThe incumbent will: collaborate closely with Jail-Based Competency Treatment programs and the Enhanced Access and Stabilization Services (EASS), both operated by DSH within the local correctional facility; oversee staff providing behavioral health services to individuals with serious mental illness, co-occurring substance use disorders, histories of significant trauma, and those experiencing homelessness; work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders, including the District Attorney's Office, Public Defender's Office, Probation, court personnel, and community-based providers; support staff during court proceedings and provide oversight for CARE Court compliance and procedures; monitor participant progress, collect program data, participate in case reviews and internal quality assurance processes, and engage with Health and Human Services Agency (HHSA) leadership; AND. Ability to: Select, supervise, train, and evaluate staff; plan, coordinate, assign, and review the work of subordinate staff; investigate and resolve disciplinary issues; apply the theories of individual and group counseling, assessment, and diagnosis; work effectively with a variety of human values and social backgrounds; communicate effectively both verbally and in writing; obtain and record social, educational, and work histories; understand and evaluate technically written materials; maintain cooperative working relationships with other County departments, State and Federal agencies and mental health staff; evaluate the training needs of technical staff; organize and interpret data pertinent to caseload management.
