In addition to base pay and bonus eligibility, this role includes clear forms of additional compensation, such as: A monthly Connectivity Plus stipend of $150 to support remote work-related expenses. Partner in running weekly editorial meetings with the Corporate Communications leader and corporate PR team - exclusively focused on the CEO: Editorial themes and narrative pull-through.
Serve as a lead project manager on high intensity, fast moving situations with an ability to coordinate across functional areas (PR, IR, digital, public affairs, global regions, etc.) keeping account leads, clients and the broader team aware of deliverables, strategy and timelines. The Senior Director will be expected to develop and execute client engagements related to friendly and hostile M&A, IPOs, spin-offs, strategic partnerships, joint ventures, activism defense preparation, proxy contests, short attacks, ESG activism and shareholder proposals, among other special situations.
ul>Develops and executes communications strategies to promote and amplify the science and technology research and programming of the Institute, including but not limited to the Energy Technologies Initiative, initiatives related to AI and climate, geophysical sciences researc,h and other research initiatives as needed. This work will include managing campaign launches of new research; maintaining the digital presence of the science and technology portfolios through web, social and email marketing; and being the central liaison on the Institute's communications team for all matters related to science and technology.
