The Department of Architecture offers undergraduate and graduate architecture programs that emphasize the education of architecture students through design studio, engagement with social and environmental issues, immersive and experiential learning, digital fluency and design computation, high performance building design, building systems and assemblies, historic preservation, digital fabrication, and critical practice in the pursuit of preparing the next generation of leaders in architecture. We engage students in educational, research, and creative endeavors that empower our graduates to have fulfilling careers and meaningful lives enriched by lifelong learning and service, while we enhance the economic, environmental, and social vitality of our community, our state, and our world.
