We are looking for a skilled and experienced Operations Research and Systems Analyst (ORSA) that embodies unwavering commitment, professionalism in support of the Marine Forces Special Operations Command. Summary of duties include but are not limited to: <ul><li>Reviews and develops analytical and technical input to evaluation documentation related to USSOCOM and service level strategy, operations, activities, and potential threats.</li><li>Formulates problems and designs research and study methods.</li><li>Conducts qualitative and quantitative analyses of complex military problems.</li><li>Summarizes and synthesizes complex analyses into simplified terms that are relatable, relevant, and fully understandable to non-ORSA SMEs.</li><li>Coordinates and integrates ORSA actions with other staff elements and functions so that they are actionable and operational.</li></ul> Keyword: Operations Research and Systems Analyst Required Experience: <ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in operations research or the equivalent of four (4) additional years of experience.</li><li>TOP SECRET/SCI clearance</li><li>Minimum 2 years’ experience serving in the Department of Defense on a Military staff, performing executive functions and bi-lateral information flow between the Commander and subordinate units.</li><li>Working knowledge of MARSOC organization, structure, and mission preferred</li><li>Working knowledge of MARSOC future force capability requirements development preferred</li><li>Must be familiar with the process for updating the Annual Joint Assessment and Joint Military Assessment.</li></ul> Working Conditions: <ul><li>Able to stoop, kneel, bend at the waist and reach on a daily basis</li><li>Able to sit and work at a computer keyboard for extended periods of time</li><li>Able to lift up to 35 pounds occasionally.</li><li>Noise level: Low to moderate</li></ul>Advantage SCI is an Equal Opportunity EmployerAdvantage SCI is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
