Successful candidates will have at least five years of increasingly responsible experience in public personnel administration, including management or supervisory experience, and a bachelors degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in human resources administration, public administration, political science, business administration, or a closely related field. Reporting to the City Manager and serving on the Executive Leadership Team, the Human Resources Director leads a team of eight and directs recruitment and selection, classification and compensation, benefits administration, workers compensation, training, employee relations, and labor negotiations with the Citys five bargaining units.
