The Respiratory Care Practitioner is responsible for the delivery of skilled respiratory care modalities and interventions to designated patient populations with cardiopulmonary system deficiencies and abnormalities, which requires the use of advanced practitioner skills to intervene in complex patient care situations. This position requires specialized training and experience to perform independent, professional respiratory care, ventilator management, diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, and clinical evaluation of care, including the establishment of therapy and treatment objectives, and the review of care based on the age and needs of the patient.
