Provides pre and post care of the GI patient, and intra procedure care as assigned; completes accurate documentation in the electronic medical record, administers IVs and medications, assesses patients, orders follow-up tests and appointments, and provides education to patients and families. Completes project work as requested, including but not limited to quality improvement, infection control, safety, recording meeting minutes, chart audits, medication and supply ordering, policy reviews, post calls/patient follow-up, and education of peers.
