Job Title: Emergency Department Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Emergency Duration: 14 weeks Shift: Full-time day/night variable shift Hours per Shift: 3x12 hours scheduled as needed, including every other weekend, holiday, and 2 on-call shifts per 4-week period Experience: Two years of acute hospital experience as a Registered Nurse; one year of Emergency Department experience as a Registered Nurse License: Current Registered Nurse Licensure Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, Stroke Certification (must be from AHA or RQI) Must-Have: Two years of experience as a Registered Nurse, including one year in an Emergency Department Description: The Emergency Department Registered Nurse applies knowledge of nursing theory, technical, and communication skills in delivering high-quality, compassionate care to patients and families. He/She establishes rapport with patients and families, addresses comfort needs, listens carefully, and assesses nonverbal communication while providing frequent updates.
