Job Title: RN II-ER Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: One year in acute care experience required License: Current RN license in state of practice required Certifications: - Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required - Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required - Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required - Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) required within 6 months of hire or transfer Must-Have: Associate Degree (A.S.) or equivalent required; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred Description: Provides nursing care, including triage, treatment, and discharge care for emergency department patients, from newborns to geriatrics. Completes legible, accurate, and timely documentation of all nursing care provided, including evaluation of patient's response to medications, treatments, and procedures.
