RNs administer titratable and set-rate drips including heparin, insulin, anti-hypertensives, antiarrhythmics, phenobarbital, ketamine, and PCAs (morphine/dilaudid/fentanyl), and TPN. Acute care setting on a 29-bed Stepdown/Medsurg unit currently under construction, with all beds becoming stepdown-equipped in early 2026.
