RNs provide inpatient care of bone marrow transplants, organ transplants, and hematologic cancer patients, administer chemotherapy, blood products, stem cells and CAR-T cells, anticipate and manage side effects related to treatment, provide patient/caregiver education. Scripps Green Hospital in La Jolla has 173 licensed beds and more than 1,400 employees, Scripps Green campus includes Scripps Clinic Torrey Pines, which is home to more than 50 medical and surgical specialties; the Anderson Outpatient Pavilion; the Shiley Musculoskeletal Center; the Scripps Center for Integrative Medicine; and an on-site pharmacy.
