Performs nursing services, such as obtaining vital signs, wound care, IV therapy, collecting blood, urine, sputum and stool specimens, respond to emergencies in the Facility, and performing assessments to insure needs are met in accordance with clinical guidelines, as well as duties imposed by the State and Federal laws and regulations and OCCD administrative procedures. Reads, maintains, updates and files various medical logs, databases and records; compiles data from patient medical records, e.g., illness/injury logs, medication administration, physical exams, treatments, specimens collected and sent for processing.
