<div>GENERAL SUMMARY:Established company with a very large market share in what they manufacture and that has a good working culture has an opportunity for a Manufacturing Engineer at a plant site in the southwest area of the Atlanta, GA metropolitan area. Much investment in the purchase of new capital equipment is taking place. This position will report to the Manufacturing Engineering Manager. In this position the selected candidate will plan and design manufacturing processes in an industrial plant; maximize efficiency by analyzing layout of equipment, workflow, assembly methods, and work force utilization; will also determine parts and tools needed in order to achieve manufacturing goals according to product specification by performing the following duties. Provided are major company benefits, bonus potential, and a 401k with 100% match to 5%. Normally working hours are 8-5, but could get up 45-50 hour hours in a week. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:<ol start="1" style="margin-top:0in"><li>Ability to design production tooling, utilizing 2D & 3D software i.e. SolidWorks.</li><li>Implement productivity improvements associated with current production lines. </li><li>Perform root cause analysis of failures using statistical methods and recommend changes in designs, tolerances, or processing methods. i.e. Lean Tools</li><li>Design & implement production process for new products and design changes to our existing products.</li><li>Perform FMEA’s on new and existing products involving designs, materials, or processes.</li><li>Review product designs for manufacturability and optimized processing.</li><li>Participate in cross functional teams to ensure optimal productivity methods.</li><li>Lead exercises in design of experiments, lean manufacturing, ROIA, etc.</li><li>Lead design review meeting for new and existing products.</li><li>Create work instructions, statement of work, spare parts inventories, critical parts inventories, etc.</li><li>Implementation of automation, robotic, vision systems, controls integration, end of arm tooling, fixturing, gauging, machine design, etc.</li></ol>EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:<ol start="1" style="margin-top:0in"><li>Bachelor's Degree (BA) from four-year college or university, or equivalent combination of education and experience.</li><li>Ability to use the following effectively: 3D modeling software (specifically Solid Works) and Microsoft Office.</li><li style="margin-left:0in">Must have tooling experience</li><li style="margin-left:0in">Project management experience is required to run projects in their entirety</li><li style="margin-left:0in">Automation experience is needed to include robotics and PLCs. </li><li style="margin-left:0in">Experience as a manufacturing engineer in a heavy manufacturing environment</li><li>Formal industry experience - flexible as to industry.</li><li>Would like zinc or high pressure aluminum die casting or stamping or plating or finishing experience and will consider plastic injection molding. </li><li>Foundry experience is desired.</li><li>Must be authorized ton work indefinitely in the USA without sponsorship. </li></ol>COMPETENCIES: <ol start="1" style="margin-top:0in"><li>Teamwork/Ethics: Works with integrity in a moral and ethical manner; We are looking for an experienced ROBOTIC MECHANIC to join our maintenance team in Lithia Springs, GA plant.  This is a fulltime position Monday to Friday (6:00 AM – 2:30 PM) with likelihood of overtime. This position requires at least 2 years robotics experience and 3 years experience in maintenance in a manufacturing environment. We offer competitive benefits and salary, plus up to $1.00/hr increase after 90 days.
