Duration: 24 Months of contract with possible extension 
  Role Contribution: This role supports MPNO by translating design to operation in support of automation transformation - performing warehouse automation design & implementation, resolving operational risks, and enabling safe, efficient startups while strengthening MWLC performance. 
  Key Project: MPNO is the automation transformation of MWLC (Champaign), deploying AutoStore, AMRs, kitting automation, and redesigned material flows. This position will be a part of the MPNO engineering project team led by MPNO Program Manager and will collaborate closely with the MWLC Operations & Safety teams, as well as vendors and contractors. 
  Purpose of this team: Logistics & Supply Network Engineering (LSNE) team delivers engineered solutions that improve safety, capacity, efficiency, and material flow across Integrated Logistics operations through automation, capital execution, and M&E/process design & execution. 
  Why this Role? 
  Enterprise level exposure: MPNO is a flagship automation initiative for ILS, impacting a site that handles over half of the MPN network's volume. The engineer works directly with ILS leadership, site operations, IT, safety, and external integrators, gaining visibility well beyond a single facility. 
  End to end automation experience: This role spans the full lifecycle of a major automation program—solutioning, detailed design, installation, testing, go live, and stabilization—covering AS/RS, robotics, AMRs, kitting automation, system integration, and process redesign. Few roles provide this depth across both engineering and operations. 
  Transferable, in demand skills: The engineer develops highly marketable capabilities in automation design, capital execution, safety by design, systems thinking, and change management, all aligned to LSNE standards intended for replication across the global network. 
  Blueprint for future roles: Because MPNO is explicitly designed to replicate lessons learned from PDNO and serve as a model for future sites, experience gained here positions the engineer as a go to SME for future automation deployments across ILS. 
  Typical task breakdown:<ul><li>Support logistics engineering for the MPNO automation transformation, including design development, capital justification, implementation planning, and on site implementation support. </li><li>Collaborate cross functionally to deliver safe, practical solutions; support installation, commissioning, risk mitigation, and provide clear project updates to Engineering and Operations leadership.</li></ul>

We are looking for a Robotics Technician to join our manufacturing team, where you will play a crucial role in assembling, maintaining, and testing our advanced robotic systems. Additionally, you will conduct field tests to ensure quality assurance. This role involves close collaboration with engineering and design teams to troubleshoot issues and implement effective solutions, directly contributing to the advancement of sustainable agriculture. This is a hands-on, on-site role involving physical assembly, field testing, and occasional outdoor work. <h5>Key Responsibilities: </h5><ul><li>Build, assemble, and maintain robotic systems in accordance with company standards. </li><li>Evaluate robot performance in real-world field environments and make adjustments to improve reliability and performance. </li><li>Work closely with mechanical, electrical, and software engineers to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues. </li><li>Use and help maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs) for accurate part tracking, inventory awareness, and procurement coordination. </li><li>Assist in developing and implementing manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and product quality. </li><li>Contribute to creating and maintaining user guides, assembly instructions, and troubleshooting documentation to support both internal teams and end-users. </li></ul><h5>Requirements: </h5><ul><li>Proven experience assembling and maintaining electrical and mechanical systems or machines. </li><li>Basic understanding of electrical wiring, sensors, and motor controllers. </li><li>Proficient with soldering equipment, power tools, and basic machine shop equipment. </li><li>Ability to troubleshoot and solve technical issues with a keen attention to detail. </li><li>Familiarity with Bills of Materials (BOMs) and basic inventory management practices. </li><li>Ability to adapt to new challenges and thrive in an independent, dynamic work environment. </li><li>Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to field locations for testing and support. </li><li>Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks in various positions, including standing, crouching, and kneeling. </li><li>Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
