Assisting in the long-term / short-term financial performance and overall strategic initiatives of the Water Safety & Control business unit which delivers annualized sales in excess of $500 million.This role will be based onsite in our Paso Robles, CA facility.Key Accountabilities<ul><li>Executes month-end close and forecast, deep diving financial results to understand variances to prior forecast and budget. Communicates financial performance, forecast commitments to BU GM and Leadership Team. Help set L2 review agenda with BU Leadership Team.</li><li>Partners with Operations and Supply Chain to manage inventory levels, maximizing existing footprint. Provides regular visibility on slow-moving, E&O inventory.</li><li>Works with the Director of Finance and GM in establishment of Strategic Plan initiatives and financials, including Budget.</li><li>Partners closely with Commercial Team to set orders and sales forecast. Walks orders performance to understand changes in market and price vs. share gain/loss from strategic initiatives.</li><li>Prepares responses to Audit including sample transactions and testing.</li><li>Publishes labor productivity and other variable-spend reporting weekly. Helps course correct when off of target.</li><li>Ensure compliance with US GAAP, Sarbanes-Oxley, Corporate policies and procedures and local statutory requirements, including annual full physical inventory and capital spend requirements.</li></ul>Qualifications/Requirements<ul><li>Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance. MBA, CMA, CPA a plus</li><li>5+ Years progressive experience in financial functions within a manufacturing or supply chain company.</li><li>Audit experience a plus.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to educate & coach both finance and non-finance professionals</li><li>Thorough knowledge of MS Office Suite and ERP systems, D365 & Tableau a plus.</li><li>Excellent organizational, planning, leadership, interpersonal and communication skills.</li><li>Initiative-taking with an ability to thrive in a challenging environment.</li><li>Operates with a continuous improvement mindset, challenging status quo.</li></ul>Capabilities and Success Factors<ul><li>Business Insight \u2013 Applying knowledge of business and the marketplace to advance the organization's goals.</li><li>Manages Complexity \u2013 Making sense of complex, high quantity, and sometimes contradictory information to effectively solve problems.</li><li>Drives Results \u2013 Consistently achieving results, even under tough circumstances.</li><li>Ensures Accountability \u2013 Holding self and others accountable to meet commitments.</li><li>Instills Trust \u2013 Gaining the confidence and trust of others through honesty, integrity, and authenticity.</li></ul>Salary Range: The compensation range(s) identified below are a good faith estimate of the salary expected to be paid as performed from these locations. Actual salaries may vary based on a variety of factors including but not limited to skillset, experience, education and training, and other relevant business and organizational factors.
