A well-established chemical solutions company is seeking an EHS Manager to join the team. This is an on-site role supporting multiple production facilities in a stable, process-intensive environment. The EHS Manager is directly responsible for overseeing day-to-day environmental, health, and safety operations and will manage programs to comply with corporate standards, guidelines, and federal regulations while striving to maintain world class safety and environmental performance. Salary + Additional Benefits:<ul><li>Salary dependent on experience </li><li>Medical Insurance</li><li>Dental Insurance</li><li>Vision Insurance</li></ul> Location: Rosenberg, TX Type of Position: Direct Hire Responsibilities:<ul><li>Manage and supervise EH&S department.</li><li>Provide guidance on all safety related issues in chemical plant environment.</li><li>Enhance and implement plant safety systems including, but not limited to; Accident/incident prevention systems, safety training programs, and chemical/hazardous material handling policies and procedures.</li><li>Collaborate with manufacturing and laboratory partners to provide technical and regulatory support to ensure environmental compliance, improvement, and leadership.</li><li>Perform risk assessment for processes, new equipment and chemical production process in regards to relevant exposers and hazards, develop corrective solutions in a fiscally and operationally responsible manner.</li><li>Supervise EH&S programs and policies to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local EH&S regulations.</li><li>Manage RMP & PSM programs.</li><li>Manage relationships and key communications with regulatory agencies (TCEQ, OSHA, etc.).</li><li>Oversee environmental management process (updating hazardous materials business plan (HMBP), chemical inventory, waste streams and other required data for permitting submittals).</li><li>Maintain chemical inventory information to ensure accurate location and allowable quantities for project activities.</li><li>Develop and measure KPIs to assess program effectiveness.</li></ul> Requirements:<ul><li>Bachelors degree in Environmental Health & Safety or related field</li><li>Minimum 710 years experience within chemical manufacturing environment</li><li>Must have experience managing safety systems related to hazardous chemicals (formaldehyde, anhydrous ammonia, etc.); reactionary chemicals experience preferred (molecular change involved)</li><li>Previous experience working with chemicals in the O&G and/or agriculture industry</li><li>Experience with a PSM-regulated facility is a plus</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills</li><li>Ability to work with all levels of a team, from entry level to upper management</li><li>Demonstrated analytical and decision-making abilities</li><li>Ability to manage multiple projects and coordinate resources with precision</li><li>Strong MS Office skills</li></ul> Due to the high volume of applications we typically receive, we regret that we are not able to personally respond to all applications.
