This role is responsible for the overall performance of the regional business, including operations, financial results, customer relationships, and team leadership. The General Manager will oversee a growing regional team supporting scaffolding construction projects, delivering safe, efficient, and compliant access solutions across a range of job sites. The Operations Manager and field leadership team will report directly to this role, with responsibility for executing daily operations, workforce planning, scheduling, and project coordination to meet the demands of complex scaffolding installations.<div></div>Key Responsibilities Leadership & Strategy<ul><li>Lead the Baltimore-area division and set the strategic direction for operational performance and growth</li><li>Build and maintain strong relationships with general contractors, developers, and project partners</li><li>Identify opportunities to expand services and grow market presence within the region</li><li>Represent in client meetings, project planning discussions, and key industry relationships</li></ul>Operations Oversight<ul><li>Provide leadership and oversight to the Operations Manager and field teams responsible for project execution</li><li>Ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and in accordance with company standards</li><li>Monitor scheduling, workforce utilization, and equipment deployment across multiple active job sites</li><li>Support resolution of complex operational, logistical, or technical challenges</li></ul>Team Development<ul><li>Lead and mentor the regional leadership team, including the Operations Manager, Field Supervisors, Yard Manager, and administrative staff</li><li>Build a strong, scalable organization capable of supporting continued growth</li><li>Promote a culture focused on safety, accountability, teamwork, and operational excellence</li></ul>Financial & Business Performance<ul><li>Oversee regional financial performance including revenue growth, operational costs, and profitability</li><li>Monitor equipment utilization, project performance, and operational efficiency</li><li>Support project review, pricing strategy, and margin improvement initiatives</li><li>Partner with company leadership to achieve long-term business objectives and expansion goals</li></ul><div></div>Services:<ul><li>Scaffolding</li><li>Temporary Re-Shoring</li><li>Trash Chutes</li><li>Stair Towers</li><li>Safety Netting</li><li>Swing Stages</li><li>Safety Equipment</li><li>Temporary Fencing</li><li>Personnel & Material (Buck) Hoists</li><li>Mast Climbing Work Platforms</li><li>Labor and Engineering Services</li></ul><div></div>Required Qualifications:<ul><li>8+ years of experience in scaffolding, access systems, or construction services</li><li>Experience managing construction operations, field teams, or service divisions</li><li>Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills</li><li>Ability to oversee multiple projects and operational priorities</li><li>Strong communication and relationship-building abilities</li><li>Experience managing regional construction operations or service divisions</li><li>Familiarity with mast climbers, swing stages, or hoist systems</li><li>Experience working with engineered scaffold drawings</li><li>OSHA or construction safety certifications</li><li>Experience managing budgets, operational performance, or P&L</li></ul>System One, and its subsidiaries including Joulé and Mountain Ltd., are leaders in delivering outsourced services and workforce solutions across North America.
