The Job You Will Perform: Assist with the management of the mill safety program by coordinating activities of the safety team, conducting safe work observations, evaluating the effectiveness of site programs, coordinating incident investigations, leading hazard/risk assessments and applying the hierarchy of controls to reduce exposure to safety hazards. This position is responsible for providing health and safety (H&S) technical/regulatory support and program development for a pulp and paper mill in the U.S. International Paper's Vicksburg Mill employs up to 400 team members, not including contractors.
