Position provides fleet vehicle for travel.</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications:<ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental or Safety Sciences/Engineering, or related field preferred.</li><li>One or more safety-related professional certification is desired (i.e. CSP, CIH, CHSM).</li><li>A minimum of 7+ years of practical environmental health and safety management experience at a medium-large site preferred (desired 10+ years).</li><li>Comprehensive knowledge of OSHA, EPA, MSHA, DOT, Canada Health & Safety Board as regionally appropriate. Experience in the interpretation of federal, provincial, state, local, environmental and safety standards.</li><li>Experience in fast paced, changing/growing organization.</li><li>Excellent time management skills and computer experience in MS Office applications (Outlook, Excel, and Word) and EHS data management system (i.e. Gensuite).</li><li>Strong ability to lead, motivate, engage and influence others.</li><li>Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including written and verbal in English.
