Responsibilities:
Performs scheduling functions as designated by practice.  Schedules surgeries, procedures and diagnostic testing. Requires general knowledge of specified surgical procedures, exam preparations, exam sequencing and other related functions.

Qualifications:
REQUIRED<ol><li style="margin-left:0.5in">Demonstrated knowledge of Medical terminology</li><li style="margin-left:0.5in">One year of medical related clerical experience</li></ol>PREFERRED<ol><li style="margin-left:0.5in">Previous experience in hospital/medical office scheduling environment.</li><li style="margin-left:0.5in">Demonstrated knowledge and skill in the use of a computerized scheduling system</li><li style="margin-left:0.5in">Prior experience in insurance precertification</li><li style="margin-left:0.5in">One (1) year secretarial experience at a healthcare organization.</li></ol>

If you haven’t, this probably isn’t the right fit. What You’ll Be Doing·         Build and maintain job routers that actually make sense for how parts are made ·         Schedule work across machines, departments, and outside processors ·         Work with machinists, managers, and purchasing to keep things moving ·         Adjust schedules when things change (because they will) ·         Flag problems early instead of reacting when it’s too late  What You Need to Know·         Manufacturing experience required.
