Faculty with extensive graduate credits, but no graduate degree, can be determined to have met the requirement if the individual is ABD (All but Dissertation) or has amassed 45 graduate hour credits in a single program that meets the requirements specific to the course being taught. A qualified faculty member in physics is one who has an earned master's or higher degree, from a regionally accredited institution, in physics, or a master's degree with 18 graduate semester credit hours in physics-related courses.
