p>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS The ideal candidate will have: 7-12 years of experience in a consulting environment, BS. or B.A. in Acoustics, Engineering, Environmental Science, or Physics, Experience in conducting community sound level impact assessments in NY Experience in using sound level measurement equipment, Experience with the CadnaA modeling software, Superior written and verbal communication skills, Experience in presenting technical material to clients, agency staff, and/or regulatory boards, and Ability to work cooperatively as part of a multidisciplinary project team.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS FOR THE JOB The Candidate must:
be able to work safely outside in variable weather conditions for an extended period of time, as necessary, work on a computer for extended periods of time, be able to travel outside of the state via plane or car, for extended period of time, and be able to carry approximately 50 pounds on either paved paths, trails, or in fields.
